Hi, I'm Kylie!

PhD(Bioprocess Engineering), Retort Supervisors' Certification (DWC Food Tech, Australia)

I'm the founder and creator of Patch to Pantry and our signature online membership, The Preserver's Kitchen.

I've spent a large part of my career working with food. I taught engineering to university students studying Food Technology for over a decade, worked within the food industry and now teach people how to preserve their own food. I have an industrial certification in the canning of low-acid foods.

I love helping people, just like you, to get started preserving food and enjoy the benefits that come from having a pantry full of healthy and convenient homemade food. 

I live on a quarter-acre section with my husband and two daughters in Gisborne, New Zealand.
